Support a Cottage

Support a Cottage

At The Refuge, we believe that cottage life is central to the healing journey of our girls. Many of the girls in our care have only lived in motel rooms, shelters, or the streets. In her cottage at The Refuge Ranch, each girl has the daily support of a house parent and other survivors, as well as a room to call her own.

Your donations will directly contribute to this nurturing environment, where girls can develop meaningful connections, and foster personal growth on their path towards healing and recovery.

Healing starts here, in a place she can call home.

Together, we can transform lives and empower young survivors  on their healing journey. The monthly expenses to sustain cottage for four girls on their path to recovery add up to $5000. Every single donation, big or small, will directly impact their lives, providing essentials like nourishing food, seasonal clothing, personal care items, vital medications, and life-enriching experiences. Your generosity has the power to make a real, lasting difference.

Private Bed & Bath

From the beginning, we wanted each girl to have her own bedroom and bathroom. Having a space to call her own is a first step in reclaiming her sense of self. Her bedroom is a place for her to rest and self-regulate in a safe and peaceful environment throughout her time at The Refuge.

Shared Living & Dining

At the core of each cottage at The Refuge Ranch is a community space in the living and dining room, where survivors and house parents share meals, watch movies, play games, and learn how to live in healthy relationships. For many survivors, this is the first glimpse they see of family stability.

Shared Kitchen

Each cottage has a spacious kitchen, perfect for cooking meals together. Many of the girls in our care have discovered a passion for cooking, which fosters independence and gives them a way to explore their unique cultural backgrounds or learn to serve others by preparing a meal for their cottage mates.

Whether you support a cottage for a day, a month, or a year, your donation of any size will make a difference in the life of survivors at The Refuge Ranch. Thank you for partnering with us to provide the very best care to child survivors of sex trafficking.
